David Weinstein was named Manager of Public Affairs, AAA Mid-Atlantic for New Jersey in January 2007. AAA Mid-Atlantic serves nearly one million Garden State members in 11 counties stretching from the Delaware Water Gap in the northwest to the Cape May peninsula at New Jersey's southern tip - and in the many diverse rural, urban and suburban locations in between.
Weinstein's background includes a decade of professional communication experience. After a stint as a newspaper reporter and photographer in southwest Iowa, Weinstein accepted reporting positions in New Jersey with the Burlington County Times, in Willingboro, and then with Packet Publications, in South Brunswick and Princeton. He most recently reported for The Associated Press, in Trenton.
Before joining AAA Mid-Atlantic, Weinstein was deputy communication director at the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission, spending nearly four years in government media and public relations.
A Burlington County native, Weinstein graduated from Elizabethtown College, in Lancaster County, Pa., and has a masters degree in public relations from Rowan University, in Glassboro.
