Community & Safety Programs

Community & Safety Programs The Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education provides safety programs to the community under the headings: In the Schools, On the Road and In the Communities. These programs provide a wealth of information for all age groups.

In The Schools

Traffic safety education is a priority for the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education. Each day, Safety Services managers are in area schools teaching our youngsters the safe and proper way to walk safely, cross streets, ride school buses, and why traffic safety awareness is critical.

On The Roads

Knowing that traffic crashes are the number one cause of death for those 2-33 years of age, the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education is dedicated to doing its part in promoting safety on our roads.

In The Communities

In keeping with the desire to engage in public service consistent with its mission, the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education continues to make a high level commitment by serving communities. The Foundation strives to improve traffic and travel safety for the general public through several community programs.
