Advanced Driving
Most collisions can be avoided, even at the last moment, if the driver takes correct action. Our Advanced Driving Program is the next step in driver training. It increases your knowledge and improves your driving skills to help reduce your overall risk behind the wheel. In the classroom, you learn defensive driving techniques to help better manage and keep you out of unsafe traffic situations. On the track, driving your own vehicle, you practice collision avoidance maneuvers and learn how your vehicle handles under extreme conditions – making you a safer driver. Driving is risky business, so get prepared for the challenges of the road.

Defensive Driving
Our Defensive Driving Program teaches drivers how to prepare the vehicle for optimum visibility, compensate for environmental factors, drive defensively and react to potentially dangerous traffic situations. Successful completion of this program may entitle drivers to an insurance premium discount and/or point reduction/credit.

Online Defensive Driving
AAA has partnered with I Drive Safely Traffic School to provide state approved courses in defensive driving. Our user-friendly courses are designed to make it easy for you to learn at your own pace. Each course contains content that has been thoroughly researched and updated, including the latest state-specific laws and useful driving tips. Successful completion of this program may entitle drivers to an insurance premium discount and/or point reduction/credit.

Boating Safety
If you operate a personal watercraft (Jet Ski, Wave Runner, etc.), or a power vessel on New Jersey waters you are required to possess a boating safety certificate. We offer the state-certified boating safety course and certification test. Classes offered at our Hamilton, NJ office.

Senior Defensive Driving
AAA's Safe Driving for Mature Operators was designed specifically for drivers 55 and older. This program delivers tips and techniques to help drivers compensate for changing vision, reflexes and response time, as well as practical guidance for collision avoidance and risk management.

Approved Driving School Network
The ADSN is a growing network of select driving schools that meet AAA’s high standards for quality – which help ensure drivers get the best training available. These schools specialize in novice driver education and are exclusively allowed to use AAA instructional materials and acquire AAA instructor training certifications. AAA members are entitled to special benefits and discounts at approved schools.
