In order to render service to a vehicle* during snow and ice conditions, the vehicle must not require digging or extricating/towing (by the responding AAA service driver) out of an area that is snowed or plowed in as this is not a Roadside Assistance function. Service will be provided when it has been determined that the area in which the vehicle is located can be rendered safely without causing injury or damage to persons or property. During a flood emergency vehicles will be provided service once the water has receded. At times some services may be temporarily suspended or tow distance restrictions may be implemented, depending on the weather event. Reimbursement requests for securing alternate service will be reviewed and processed under the terms of the membership up to the amount it would have cost AAA to provide the covered service under similar circumstances.
