1. No purchase is necessary to enter.
2. Entrants must be members of AAA Mid-Atlantic, AAA Southern Pennsylvania or AAA Central Penn, 21 years of age or older and a resident of the U.S. or Canada. Employees of AAA Mid-Atlantic, AAA Southern Pennsylvania, AAA Central Penn and members of their immediate families are not eligible.
3. Photos must be at least 4x6 inches with photo location, member name, address, telephone number and membership number written clearly on the back of each photo.
4. All entries must be postmarked by December 11, 2009. There is no limit to the number of entries per person and multiple entries may be sent in one envelope. Photos must have been shot and be owned by the entrant. Photos previously published or pending publication are not eligible. All entries are the property of AAA WORLD Publishing Group, LLC. AAA WORLD is not responsible for lost, late or illegible entries and will not return submissions.
5. The top six winners will be selected from among the eligible entries. The selection will be conducted under the supervision of the AAA WORLD Publishing Group, LLC, and the decision of the judges will be final in all matters relating to this contest. Entries will be judged for originality and execution by the AAA WORLD Art Department. The top six photos will be posted online at AAA.com/world from January 1, 2010 through February 1, 2010 for judging of the grand prize by our AAA members. One prize per member. The prize winners will be notified by mail. Prize winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 14 days of notification. If AAA WORLD does not receive the signed Affidavit within this time period, AAA WORLD reserves the right to award the prize to an alternate winner, or not to award the prize. Applicable federal, state and local taxes are the responsibility of the winner. The contest is void where restricted or prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees that neither AAA WORLD nor any of its parent, subsidiary, or affiliate companies and the agents, employees, directors or officers of any of these entities, will have any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind incurred in connection with or resulting from the use or misuse of any prize, or while traveling to, preparing for and/or participating in any prize-related activity.
6. The prizes for the AAA WORLD 2009 photo contest are as follows: Grand Prize: AAA Magellan GPS unit (valued up to $250), New York Broadway Show Package for Two (valued up to $500 including both show and two night’s hotel accommodations based on what the member chooses from what is available from AAA at the time the prize is awarded), AAA Emergency Car Care Kit (valued at $50), $400 AAA Visa gift card; First Runner-up: $200 AAA Visa gift card; Second Runner-up: $150 AAA Visa gift card; Third Runner-up: $100 AAA Visa gift card; Fourth Runner-up: $50 AAA Visa gift card; Fifth Runner-up: $50 AAA Visa gift card. The prizes are not redeemable for cash.
7. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries received.
8. By entering, all entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules, and winners agree to allow AAA WORLD, AAA Southern Pennsylvania, AAA Central Penn and AAA Mid-Atlantic Inc. use of their names for promotional purposes without obtaining further consent or providing compensation. The winning photographs and names of winners will appear in an upcoming issue of AAA WORLD and on AAA.com/world.
